I began my journey in education as a classroom teacher—crafting vibrant, high-performing environments where students learned deeply and grew meaningfully. At a nationally recognized school, I taught English Language Arts and History with a focus on rigor, reflection, and relationships. My classroom wasn’t just about content—it was about culture, identity, and intellectual courage.

But teaching was just the beginning.

After leadership training in Boston and at Harvard, I went on to lead high schools in charter networks and public IB World Schools—navigating moments of crisis, transformation, and change with a belief that has guided me ever since: Leadership is a form of coaching.

As a principal and executive coach, I’ve helped dozens of school leaders build:
